A) The value of X is 10g.

80g of 02+Xg of H2+90g of H20

b) By Law of Conservation of Mass, both reactants' side and products' side should have equal mass as atoms can neither be created nor destroyed during the course of a chemical change. That is why we need 10g of Hydrogen with 80g of Oxygen to get 90g of water.
