if 9th of term of the AP is zero prove that its 29 term is double the 19th term

A + 8D = 0


A = -8D......(1)


To prove :-

29th term = 2(19th term)

A + 28D = 2(A+18D)


-8D +28D = 2(-8D+18D)


20D = 2 × 10D

20D = 20D...... PROVED......

19th term = a+18d = -8d + 18d = 10d

29th term = a + 28d = -8d + 28d = 20d

Hence,

20d is twice of 10d

Proved that 29th term is double of 19th term
