Given :  A(-1,0), B(5,-2), and C(8,2) are the vertices of a Triangle ABC

To find :  centroid of triangle

Solution:

in Any triangle

where vertex of triangle are  (x₁ , y₁) , (x₂ , y₂) & (x₃ , y₃)

then centroid of triangle = (x₁  + x₂ + x₃)/3  , (y₁ + y₂ + y₃)/3

A(-1,0), B(5,-2), and C(8,2)

Centroid of Triangle  =  ( -1 + 5 + 8)/3  , ( 0 - 2 + 2)/3

= (12)/3  , 0/3

= 4 , 0

(4,0) is the centroid of triangle  ABC If A(-1,0), B(5,-2), and C(8,2) are the vertices
