Hey friend!

Here is your answer:

To find the radius of a circle whose end points of a diameter are A( 1, 1) and B( 7, 9)

Distance Formula:

→ We will apply distance formula here,

which is dist(A,B) = \sqrt{(x_1 - x_2)^2 + (y_1 - y_2)^2}

where Coordinates of A is x_1 , y_1 and

Coordinates of B is x_2 , y_2

According to the question,

Length of diameter of the circle is

\sqrt{(1 - 7)^2 + (1 - 9)^2}\\\\= \sqrt{(-6)^2 + (-8)^2}\\\\= \sqrt{36 + 64} \\\\= \sqrt{100} \\\\= 10

Now,

Radius = \frac{diameter}{2}

= \frac{10}{2} \\\\= 5 \ units

Answer: 5 units

I hope it helps you
