Step-by-step explanation:

n(AxB) = n(A) x n(B) = 4x4 = 16

Each element is written once only. If you find (1,2) in A x B then you must not confuse your self.

(1,2) is different from (2,1).

Answer:

A = { 1,2,3,4} and B = { 5,6,7,6}

So,

AxB = { (1,5),(1,6),(1,7),(1,6),(2,5),(2,6),(2,7),(2,6),(3,5),(3,6),(3,7),(3,6),(4,5),(4,6),(4,7),(4,6)}

So, Cardinal number of AxB set is 12

And, no we cannot include repititive elements of the set while calculating cardinal number because by definition cardinal number is the number of distinct elements.
