 Given \: A = \{1,2,3,5\} \: and \:B =\{ 2,4\}

 i) n(A) = 4

 ii) n(B) = 2

 iii) A\times B= \{(1,2),(1,4),(2,2),(2,4),(3,2),(3,4),(5,2),(5,4)\}

 Now , L.H.S = n( A\times B) = 8

 R.H.S = n(A) \times n(B)

 = 4 \times 2

 = 8

 \therefore LHS = RHS
