Given : A = {1, 2, 3} , B = {4, 5, 3}

To Find :  A, B are called _______

Solution:

Two sets A and B are said to be overlapping if they contain at least one element in common.

Two sets A and B are said to be disjoint set  if they does not contain any element in common.  A ∩ B  = ∅  or { }  , Null set

A = {1, 2, 3} , B = {4, 5, 3}

A ∩ B  = { 3}

Hence A & B are overlapping sets

If A = {1, 2, 3} , B = {4, 5, 3}, then A, B are called overlapping set.
