If A(1,2), B(4,3), and C(6,6) are the 3 vertices of a parallelogram ABCD, find the coordinates of 4th vertex

(x,y) = (6+1/2) , (6+2/2)----1    (midpoint theorem)
(x,y) = (a+4/2) , (b+3/2)----2

from 1 and 2 we get a = 3 and b = 5

therefore D(a,b) = D(3,5)
