1 \div (1 -  \sqrt{2})  \times( 1 +  \sqrt{2})  \div (1 +  \sqrt{2} )

1 + root2 / 1²- 2

-(1+root2)

-1 - root2

Now,

(a-1/a)× root 2 = 1- root2 - ( -1 - root2) × root2

= 1 - root2 + 1 + root2 × root2

= 2root2
