if a=1/3-√8 and b=1/3+√8 find value of (a+b) ^2​

a =  \frac{1}{3}  -  \sqrt{8}  \:  \:  \: b =  \frac{1}{3}  +  \sqrt{8}  \\ (a + b)^{2}  =  { ((\frac{1}{3} -  \sqrt{8} )  + ( \frac{1}{3} +  \sqrt{8} )}) ^{2}  \\  =  (\frac{1}{3}  -  \sqrt{8}  +  \frac{1}{3}  +  \sqrt{8} ) ^{2}  \\   = (\frac{2}{3} ) ^{2}  =  \frac{4}{9} (ans)
