If a = 1/ 7 – 4 3 and b = 1/ 7 + 4 3 , then find the value of a + b. .

Answer:

a=1/7-43

b=1/7+43

a+b=1/7-43+1/7+43

=1/7+1/7(since, -43+43 will cancel out)

=2/7
