Here we are given an expression 2a+3b+4c

Also, we are given the values of a,b,and c

a=1, b=-2,c=-1

We have to find the value of the expression

Putting the given values in the expression

2a+3b+4c = 2 ( 1 ) + 3 ( -2 ) + 4 ( -1 )

= 2 - 6 - 4

= 2 - 10

= -8

Hence, the value of 2a+3b+4c will be -8.

  • As per the data given in the question, we have to determine the value of the given expression.

       Given data:- 2a+3b+4c.

       To find:- the value of the given expression.

       Solution:-

  • Here, we will use BODMAS RULE.
  • BODMAS RULE:- It is a correct order to solve the mathematical expression.
  • Where, B stands for bracket
  • O stands for of
  • D stands for divide
  • M stands for multiplication
  • A stands for addition
  • S stands for subtraction.

    Therefore,

      2a+3b+4c.

   a=1,b=-2,c=-1.

      =2\times1+3\times-2+4\times-1\\=2+(-6)+(-4)\\=2-10\\=-8.

  Hence, the value will be -8.
