Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:(√3-1)/(√3+1)

=[(√3-1)/(√3+1)]×[(√3-1)/(√3-1)]

=(3+1-2√3)/(3-1)

=(4-2√3)/2

=[2(2-√3)]/2

=2-√3

a-b√3=2-√3

∴the values of a=2 and b=1

So the values of a and b are 2 and 1 respectively.
