Hello !!

A + 1/A = ✓5

On squaring both sides , we get ;

( A + 1/A)² = (✓5)²

A² + 1/A² + 2 × A × 1/A = 5

A² + 1/A² + 2 = 5

A² + 1/A² = 5-2

A² + 1/A² = 3

On squaring both sides , we get ;

★ ( A² + 1/A²)² = (3)²

=> A⁴ + 1/A⁴ + 2 × A² × 1/A² = 9

=> A⁴ + 1/A⁴ + 2 = 9

=> A⁴ + 1/A⁴ = 9-2

=> A⁴ + 1/A⁴ = 7

Hence,

1/A⁴ + A⁴ = 7.
