If a 100ml of water is filled by bacteria in one min, how much time will be taken by bacteria to fill 50ml (1 sec= bacteria divide into two)

are u sure given text is correct ? in 1 sec. bateria divides into two ? or its in one min. it divides into 2 ?
cuz u have to find no. of bacteria after 60 sec.
if in one sec. it divides into 2 then in 2 sec. it will be 4 then in 3 it will be 8..like this till 60 sec.
thn one bacterial can fill 100ml in 1 min. so find no. of bacteria then by unitary method find the time required to fill 50 ml.
