Step-by-step explanation:
since the diagonals of a //gm bisect each other so by section formulae we can gat the vale of x and y
what we have to do is taking the points of two opposite vertices ie a and c and band d
now the two diagonals intersect at a point let's name it o and since they bisect they divide themselves in th ratio of 1 and 1
so now AC= -2+x/2 which will be equal to BD= 1+1/2=1
AC = BD
-2+X= 1
x=3
similarly we can find the value of y =4
