If a=2+√3+√5 and b=3+√3+√5 . Find (a-2)whole sq. + (b-3) whole sq.

Answer:

a-2 whole square = root3 + root5 whole square

=8+2root15

b-3 whole square = 8+2root15

therefore a-2 whole square + b-3 whole square = 2 (8+2root15)

= 16+4root15
