First, difference between abscissa and ordinate.

Abscissa is the x coordinate.

Ordinate is the y coordinate.

Eg. In the point (1,-5), the abscissa is the x coordinate i.e. 1

the ordinate is the y coordinate i.e. -5

Now coming to your answer:-

In point A, the abscissa is -2.

In point B, the abscissa is -3.

The question is abscissa(A) - abscissa(B)

⇒ (-2)-(-3)

⇒ -2+3

⇒ 3+(-2)

⇒ 3-2

⇒ 1

Answer:- ∴ The answer i.e. abscissa(A) - abscissa(B) = 1

Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
