If a^2 + b^2 = 10 and ab= 3 find a-b and a+b

a^2+b^2 = 10
or,( a+b)^2 -2ab = 10
or,(a+b)^2 - 2 ×3 = 10
or, (a+b)^2 = 10+6
or (a+b)^2 = (4)^2
now, a+b = 4
again,a^2+b^ 2 = 10
or, (a-b)^2 +2ab = 10
or, (a-b)^2+2×3 = 10
or, (a-b)^2 = 10-6
or, (a-b)^2 = (2)^2
or, (a-b) = 2

a^2+b^2+2ab=10+6=16
(a+b)^2=16
a+b=4
similarly
a^2+b^2-2ab=10-6=4
(a-b)^2=4
a-b=2
