a {}^{2} + b { }^{2} + c {}^{2} - 2ab - 2bc - 2ca + 3abc

Putting value of a,b, and c

2 {}^{2} + 3 {}^{2} + ( - 2) {}^{2} - 2 \times 2 \times 3 - 2 \times 3 \times ( - 2) - 2 \times ( - 2) \times 2 + 3 \times 2 \times 3 \times ( - 2)

= 4+9+4-12+12+8-36
= -11

a^2+b^2+c^2-2ab-2bc-2ca+3ab=-11

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Expression a^2+b^2+c^2-2ab-2bc-2ca+3abc If a = 2,b=3 and c=-2.

To find : The value of the expression ?

Solution :

Expression a^2+b^2+c^2-2ab-2bc-2ca+3abc

Substitute, a = 2,b=3 and c=-2.

=2 {}^{2} + 3 {}^{2} + ( - 2) {}^{2} - 2 \times 2 \times 3 - 2 \times 3 \times ( - 2) - 2 \times ( - 2) \times 2 + 3 \times 2 \times 3 \times ( - 2)

= 4+9+4-12+12+8-36

=-11

Therefore, a^2+b^2+c^2-2ab-2bc-2ca+3ab=-11
