Answer: Here, a=2ỉ + j and b=3i+4j and c = 2i +5j

To find : a . (b+c)

Then, a.(b+c) = ab +ac = ( 2i +j) ( 3i +4j) + (2i +j ) ( 2i + 5j)

                                      = 6 +4+ 4 + 5

                                      = 19 ans

Explanation: Here, i have done on the basis of the dot product .It gives that  [ i . i = 1 , i . j = 0 ]

[ j . j =1 , j . i =0 ]

so by factorizing then we can multiply it by dot product.
