Answer:

maximum percentage error = (∆a/a +∆b/b) ×100

= (0.2/20 +0.4/80) ×100

3/200 ×100

+_1.5%

according to division rule in error finding

Answer:

1) 5%

Explanation:

relative error = mean absolute value / most probable error

% error = relative error * 100

here {most probable value+ _ mean absolute error }

so, find relative error now

(relative error )1 = 0.2/20 = 0.01

(relative error )2 = 0.4/80 = 0.005

now we have in question A3/ B4 so

3∆a/a + 4∆b/b = (3 * 0.01) + (4*0.005)

= 0.03 + 0.02

= 0.05

so now % error = 0.05 * 100

= 5%

hope u get this !!!
