Given:

Vector a = 2i-2j-k

Vector b = i+j

To Find:

Angle between a and b

Solution:

A = 2i-2j-k

B = i+j

Angle = 90°

Resultant of vectors A and B will be -

R = A+B

R = ( 2i-2j-k) + (i-j)

R = 3i-j-k

Projection of resultant on x axis -

r = 3 / √9+1+1

r = 3/√11
