A = 3+✓5 / 2

Therefore,

A²+1/ A² = (3+✓5)² + 1 / ( 3+✓5)²

= (3)² + (✓5)² + 2 × 3 × ✓5 + 1 / (3)² + ( ✓5)² + 2 × 3 × ✓5

= 9 + 5 + 6✓5 + 1 / 9 + 5 + 6✓5

= 15+6✓5/14+6✓5 Ans.
