If a =3+ √5 , then find the value of a2 +1÷a2

a=3+√5
now,  a² =(3+√5)²
⇒a²= (3)² + (√5)² +2×3×√5..........[∵ (x+y)² = x² + y² + 2xy]
⇒ a²= 9+5+6√5
⇒ a² = 14+6√5.......................(1)
∴1+a²/a² = 1+14+6√5 / 14+6√5
