Answer:

25

Step-by-step explanation:

a²+ b²+c²+ 2(ab + bc + ca)

a^2+b^2+c^2+2ab+2bc+2ca

3^2+(-5)^2+(-3)^2+2(3)(-5)+2(-5)(-3)+2(-3)(3)

9+25+9+(-30)+30+(-18)

9+25+9-30+30-18

43-18=25

Given : a= 3, b=-5 , c=-3,

To Find :  a²+ b²+c²+ 2(ab + bc + ca )

Solution:

a= 3, b=-5 , c=-3,

a²+ b²+c²+ 2(ab + bc + ca )

= 3² + (-5)² + (-3)²  + 2 (3*(-5)  + (-5)(-3)  + (-3)3)

= 9 + 25 + 9 + 2( - 15 + 15 - 9)

= 43 + 2 (-9)

= 43 - 18

= 25

Simpler way

a²+ b²+c²+ 2(ab + bc + ca ) = (a + b + c)²

= ( 3 - 5 - 3)²

= (-5)²

= 25
