Given:

a=3.

So the first term is 3.

n=8

number of terms is 3.

Given Sn=192.

We know that:

Sn=n/2*[2a+(n-1)d]

==)192=n/2*[2a+(n-1)d]

==)384=8*[6+7*d]

==)6+7d=384/8

==)7d=48-6

==)7d=42

==)d=42/7

==)d=6

The value of d is 6.

Hope it helps:-)
