Solution:

 \sf a =  \dfrac{4}{5}   \div  \dfrac{8}{7}

Now Changing that division sign into multiplication sign later will get reciprocal ✓

 \sf a =  \dfrac{4}{5}  \times  \dfrac{7}{8}

 \sf{a =  \dfrac{ { \cancel4}^{} }{5}  \times  \dfrac{7}{ { \cancel8}_{2} } }

 \sf{a =  \dfrac{7}{10} }

Now we have to find a²

 \sf {a}^{2}  = { \huge(}{ \dfrac{7}{10}{ \huge)} }^{2}

 \sf {a}^{2}  =  \dfrac{ {7}^{2} }{ {10}^{2} }

 \sf {a}^{2}  =  \dfrac{49}{100}
