first part a++ :

     → a++ will first increment a by 1 and return a - 1.

     That means : a + 1 = 49 and it returns a - 1 = 49 - 1

                                                                           = 48.

     after solving a++, our new value of a appears as 48.

     [But the value of a is 49]

second part ++a :

     → ++a will first increment a by 1 and return a + 1.

     That means: a + 1 = 49 + 1

                                   = 50

     after solving ++a, our new value of a appears as 50.

Conclusion:

    → a = a++ + ++a

          = 48 + 50

          = 98
