To Solve:

  • Which Term will be 0

Given:

  • a = 5
  • d = -1
  • aⁿ = 0

Solⁿ:

  • We have every term except the n
  • Apply : aⁿ = a + ( n-1 ) d

=> aⁿ = a + ( n-1 ) d

=> 0 = 5 + ( n-1 )( -1 )

=> 0 = 5 -n +1

=> 0 = 6 -n

=> -6 = -n

=> 6 = n

6th Term of the A.P will be 0.
