A is 20% greater than B,

Let us consider B is x.

So,it can be equated that,

A=x+20/100*x

A=x+x/5

A=6x/5.

C is 20% less than B,

C=x-x/5

C=4x/5.

By dividing A & C,

we get,

A/C=6/4

A/C=3/2

By cross multiplication,

A=1.5C.

that is, A is greater than C.

A=C+C/2

that is,

A is 50% greater than C.
