If A={6,7,8} B={8,9} find the Cartesian products A×A,B×B,A×B,B×A solutions

A = [6,7,8]

B = [ 8,9]

A×A = [6,7,8]×[6,7,8]

= [2016, 2352 , 2688]

B×B = [ 8,9] ×[8,9]

= [576 , 648]

A×B = [ 432 , 504 , 576]

B×A = [ 2688, 3024]

CARTESIAN PRODUCT:   In graph theory, the Cartesian product of two graphs G and H is the graph denoted by G × H, whose vertex set is the (ordinary) Cartesian product V(G) × V(H)

A = [6,7,8]

B = [ 8,9]

  • A×A = [6,7,8]×[6,7,8]

= [2016, 2352 , 2688]

  • B×B = [ 8,9] ×[8,9]

= [576 , 648]

  • A×B = [ 432 , 504 , 576]

  • B×A = [ 2688, 3024]
