if a=6 and b=2 find the value of

1)a+6b/5a-3b ans is-3/4
2)2ab+7b-10/4ab-3a-2 ans is-1​

Solution:

It is given that, a=6 , b=2

Now ,

i) Value of (a+6b)/(5a-3b)

= [6+6×2]/[5×6-3×2]

= (6+12)/(30-6)

= 18/24

= (3×2×3)/(3×2×4)

After cancellation we get

= 3/4

ii) Value of

(2ab+7b-10)/(4ab-3a-2)

= (2×6×2+7×2-10)/(4×6×2-3×6-2)

= (24+14-10)/(48-18-2)

= 28/28

= 1
