ANSWER:

  • L.H.S = (-9)
  • R.H.S = (-9)
  • LHS= RHS ( Verified)

GIVEN:

  • a = (-8)
  • b= (-7)
  • c = (6)

TO VERIFY:

  • (a+b)+c = a+(b+c)

SOLUTION:

Taking L.H.S

= (a+b)+c

= {(-8)+(-7)}+(6)

= {-8-7}+(6)

= -15+6

= (-9)

Taking R.H.S

= a+(b+c)

= (-8) + {(-7)+6}

= (-8) + (-7+6)

= (-8) -1

= (-8-1)

= (-9)

LHS= RHS

Verified

This property is called Associative Property of addition.
