If a=(-8) b=(-7) c=(6) verify that (a+b)+c=a(b+c)

Now, putting the values & verifying LHS = RHS

( a + b ) + c = a ( b + c )

=[ (-8) + (-7) ] + 6 = (-8) [ (-7) + 6 ]

= (-15) + 6 = (-8) × (-1)

= (-9) ≠ 8

LHS ≠ RHS

Answer:

Note: I guess you have mistaken in typing the question, the verification must have to be done for (a+b)+c = a+(b+c).

a =  - 8  \\  b =  - 7  \\ c =  6 \\  \\  \\ LHS \:  = (a + b) + c    \\ =  [( - 8) + ( - 7)]  + 6 \\  = ( - 15) + 6 \\  = ( - 9)

RHS = a + (b + c) \\  = ( - 8) + [( - 7) + 6] \\  = ( - 8) + ( - 1) \\  = (  - 8) - 1 \\  = ( - 9)

LHS \:  = RHS \\ \implies (a + b) + c  = a + (b + c) \\ hence \: proved
