Given:

a=-9,b=-6

(a-b)=-9-(-6)=-9+6=-3

(b-a)=(-6)-(-9)=9-6=3

-3 is not equal to 3

hence,

(a-b)is not equal to (b-a)

a = -9

b = -6

LHS :

( a - b ) = ( -9 - (-6) )

= (-9 + 6)

= -3

RHS :

( b - a ) = ( -6 - (-9) )

= (-6 + 9)

= 3

Here, LHS ≠ RHS .

Hence, ( a - b ) ≠ ( b - a ) .
