Asked:-

If a a:b=3:4and b:c=5:6,find a:c and a:b:c. ??

Solution:-

Value of A : C will be :-

Given that

a : b = 3 : 4

b : c = 5 : 6

so , a : b : : b : c = 3 : 4 : : 5 6

a:c =  \frac{3}{4}  \times  \frac{5}{6}  =  \frac{5}{8}

so \ \\  = a:b =  \frac{5}{8}

Value of a : b : c is

A:B = 3:4

B:C = 5:6

LCM of 4 and 5 = 20, so

A:B = 15:20 and B:C =20:24.

Thus A:B:C as 15:20:24.

Answers :-

a : c = ⅝

a : b : c = 15 : 20 : 24
