If a,A,b are in Arithmetic progression, then prove that A=a+b/2

If a, A, b are in arithematic progression then,

Common difference= A-a = b-A

So, A-a= b-A

A+A= b+a

2A= a+b

A= (a+b)/2

PROVED.

put value in equation 1

therefore A = a + b / 2
