Heya
a , (a² + 2 ) And ( a³ + 10 ) are in g.p given.
=>
( a² + 2 ) = √{a×{a³+10}
SQUARING BOTH SIDE'S
a⁴ + 4 +4a² = a⁴ + 10a
=>
a⁴ - a⁴ + 4a² - 10a + 4 = 0
=>
4a² - 10a + 4 = 0
=>
2a² - 5a + 2 = 0
=>
2a² - 4a - a + 2 = 0
=>
2a{ a - 2 } -1 ( a - 2 ) = 0
=>
a = 1/2 OR a = 2
