If A and B are complementary angles then , A + B = 90 degree . . . . 1 Hence sinA = sin 90 - B = cosB So sinA = cosB and cos A = cos 90 - B = sinB Hence cosA = sinB Now tanA = tan 90 - B = cotB and cotA = cot 90 - B = tanB
