If a and 1/a is zeros polynomial p(x) = 4x^2 - 2x +(k-4) , then find the value of k ?​

Answer:

p(x) = 4x²-2x+(k-4)

a and 1/a are zeroes of p(x)

we know that α+β = -b/a and αβ = c/a ,since α & β are zeroes of polynomial.

so here α & β are a and 1/a .

αβ = c/a

a * 1/a = (k-4)/4

1 = (k-4)/4

4 = k-4

k = 8
