If a and b are coprime numbers. Then what are a^2and b^2

I think they are also prime no.s as they have only two factors .
For ex. 7 and 11 therefore ...
49 =7×7×1 and 121 = 11×11×1

Co-primes are the numbers whose common factor have 1 as their common factor and they don't have more than two factors i.e 1 and number itself.
Two natural numbers are said to be co-prime if their H.C. F is 1.
GIVEN: a, b are co-prime numbers.
HCF (a,b) = 1
Here, the two numbers are a² and b²,
Factors of a² = 1, a,a
Factors of b² = 1, b,b
HCF (a²,b²) = 1
Hence, the number a², b² are co-prime numbers because there HCF is 1.
