Step-by-step explanation:

A : B = 3 : 4

A/B = 3/4

B : C = 12 : 13

B/C = 12/13

C/B = 13/12

Now ,

(A/B)/(C/B) = (3/4)/(13/12) = 3/4 × 12/13 = 9/13

A : C = 9 : 13

Answer:

Since we already know that A:B is 3:4 and B:C is 12:13,

And Basic mathematical formula suggests that :-

When there is a relation between A - B and B - C

there has to be a relation between A and C as well.

So, the relation must be A:B/B:C and this Statement can be mathematically used as

3:4/12:13 = (3*13)/(4*12) = 13:16

And Hence the Ratio of A:C is 13:16.
