(C) IS NOT NOT THE CORRECT ONE.

Since,

In (a) a*b= b*a

Ex. Let a=3 and b=6

= 3*6 = 6*3

= 18 = 18 (hence correct)

(b) a*1 = a

Ex. Let a=0

= 0*1 = 0 (hence correct)

(c) a/b = b/a

Ex. Let a=2 & b=3

= 2/3 = 3/2

= 0.67 = 1.5 (hence incorrect)

(d) a*(b*c) = (a*c) *b

Ex. Let a=1, b=2, c=3

= 1*(2*3) = (1*3)*2

= 6 = 6 (hence correct)
