If a and b are length and breadth of a rectangle and it's perimeter is 20 then which of the following is true ?

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

Here length =l and breadth =b

If the length and breadth of a rectangle are doubled.

then length =2l and breadth =2b

∴ perimeter of new rectangle would be 2(2l+2b)=4(l+b)=2.2(l+b)

∴ if the length and breadth of a rectangle are doubled then its perimeter is also doubled.

Option B is correct.
