Since P(A) and P(B) are two mutually exclusive and exhaustive events, P(A)+P(B)=1 and P(B)=3P(A)

⇒P(A)+3P(A)=1              

⇒4P(A)=1

⇒P(A)=41

⇒P(B)=1−41=43

⇒ P(B) =1−43=41.
