Hi ,

Mutually Exclusive Events :

Two or more events are mutually

exclusive , if the occurance of each

event prevent the other event .

A and B are mutually exclusive

events , then

P( A U B ) = P( A ) + P( B )

The probability of Union of two

mutually exclusive events is given

by the sum of the probability of the

events individually .

I hope this helps you.
