If a and b are positive integers and a/5+b/7=31/35 then find the value of a and b

a = 3 & b = 2

Doing cross multiplication will give

(a + 5b)/35 = 31/35

Then, multiplying both side with 35 will give,

{(7a+5b)/35} * 35 ={ 31/35}*35

7a + 5b = 31.

As its given that answer is +ve integer we can do trial & error to find result.

This will give us answer as, (a,b) = (3,2)
