Step-by-step explanation:
Given ;
6 / 3√2 - 2√3 = a√ 2 - 2√3
Rationalisation ;
6/ 3√2 - 2√3 × 3√2 + 2√3 / 3√2 + 2√3
= 6( 3√2 + 2√3 ) / (3√2)² - (2√3)²
= 18 √2 + 12 √3 / 18 - 12
= 6 ( 3√2 + 2√3 ) / 6 ( 3 - 2 )
( 6 and 6 get cancelled)
= 3√2 + 2√3 / 1 = 3√2 + 2√3
Hence , a√2 = 3√2
b √ 3 = 2√3 .
So , we can say that a = 3, b = 2 . ( ans )..
Hope ! it's helpful....
