Answer:D

2+√3/2-√3=a+b√3

(4+√3-2√3)/2=a+b√3

(4-√3)/2=a+b√3

2-√3/2=a+b√3

On comparing both the sides

a=2

b√3=-√3/2 = b= -1/2

So,

a^2+b^2

(2)^2+(-1/2)^2

4+1/4

16+1/4

+17/4.
